On the day this picture was taken (2014), the Burj Khalifa is still the tallest building in the world. Its construction, completed in 2009, takes the summit of the tower to an altitude of 828 meters.
Talisker Beach, just below the town of Talisker est a beautiful beach at the exit of Glen Oraid on which white sand and volcanic sand are blended, giving this incredible colour to the beach.
The Storr is a rock formation on the Trotternish peninsula, on the east coast of Skye. Several land slides cleared out the earth around these volcanic rocks, one of them protruding: "The Old Man of Storr"
